Dennis Charles Buckel, Williams Bay, WI  (1942 - 2012)

Dennis C. Buckel, age 69, of Williams Bay WI, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at his home in Williams Bay, WI. Dennis was born Nov. 11, 1942, in Oak Park IL, the son of George and Lorna (Zolla) Buckel. He was united in marriage to Diane Sorenson on July 4, 1964, in Oak Park IL. Dennis was a member of the Chicago Fire Department, serving on the Marine Unit, Air and Sea Rescue. He was later employed at Woodlawn Engineering in Addison IL. He was a member of the Rock County Gun Club.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Diane of Williams Bay; his daughters, Deanna (Marty) Coomes of St. Charles, IL, and Deidra (Glenn) Busch of Lake In The Hills, IL; his son, Drake Buckel of Mason, OH; seven grandchildren: Lauren, Stephen, Jonathan, Riley, Connor, Rachel and Sarah; his sisters, Diane (Jim) Reilly and Daryl Buckel, both of Addison IL; his brother, Dean Buckel of Addison; and his mother, Lorna Buckel of Williams Bay. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, George Buckel
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at the MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan, WI. Visitation will be Friday, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the FUNERAL HOME. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva, WI. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan, WI, is assisting the family
