Chester Allen Anderson, 86, of Edgerton, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at the Edgerton Care Center, with his loving family by his side. He was born on April 2, 1926, in Albion, WI, son of the late Albert and Tillie (Johnson) Anderson. He was united in marriage to Connie Stanke, on Jan. 29, 1949, at Central Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Milton.
Chester worked in maintenance at Dorsey Trailer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his garage, tinkering and gardening. He would call his grandsons Jason and Jake to tell them to come over if he had a job for them to do. Chester always had a story to tell anyone who would listen to him. He really enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter Brittany and telling her how big she had gotten since he seen her last.
Chester is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Connie of Edgerton; one daughter, Cindy (Chuck) Stacey of Oregon, WI; one son, David (Dawn) Anderson; four grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marlyn Christianson and Gladys (Larry) Roberts, both of Stoughton, WI; two sisters-in law, Wilma Anderson and Dorothy Anderson; one brother-in-law, Everett Stanke, all of Edgerton; many nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends. He was preceded in death by one sister, Arlene; and three brothers: Harry, Emil and Jerry.
