Sharon Kay Aumiller, Footville, WI  (1941 - 2012)

Sharon Kay Aumiller, age 71, formerly of Beloit, and Janesville, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Mercy Hospital. She was born in Janesville, WI, on March 19, 1941, to Pauline Hedden Clayton and Harold Nehls.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Carol (Tony) Cerros of Beloit WI; son, David Aumiller (Murphy & Wrigley) of Hoffman Estates, IL; grandson, Adam Cerros; granddaughter, Jennifer Cerros (Aaron Schoville); two great-grand children, Christian and Addyson Schoville; as well as her sisters: Renae Hutchinson, Mary (Brian Knox) Hansen, and Norma (Dick) Valaske; a brother, Mike (Donna) Hutchinson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David Wayne Aumiller; and an infant son.
Sharon was a Certified Nurses Aid; she enjoyed activities at the Eagles Club and camping with her sister, Renae. One of her final wishes was to participate in The Harvard Brain Tissue Resource Center research program. Sharon also proudly participated in the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Sharon had friends and extended family in the Beloit and Janesville area, and will be best remembered for the way she joked and made people smile and feel special.
The family wishes to thank the Community Support Program of Rock County (Kaj Anderson -Janesville Office) and St. Elizabeth Manor (Mother Mary Christopher) for their support of Sharon and her family over the years.
A celebration of her life will be held at ST. ELIZABETH MANOR'S CHAPEL in Footville, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012. Donations in lieu of other expressions of sympathy, may be made in honor of Sharon’s memory to the Community Support Program, 113 S.
