Brian Kenneth Gilmour, 47, of Madison, WI, died, unexpectedly, from natural causes, May 9, 2012. He was born July 25, 1964, in Beloit, WI, the son of the late Kenneth L. and Joyce C. Gilmour (Shroble) of Clinton, WI. Brian graduated from Clinton High School, attended UW-Platteville and was a member of the soccer team. He lived most of his adult life in the St. Croix Valley area of Minnesota-Wisconsin. Brian was an avid antique collector, cook, reader and researcher. His
heartfelt laugh and unique wit will be missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Brian is survived by his sisters, Barbara Braun of Houston, TX. and Marcia (Dwight) Grenawalt of Bethlehem, PA; his brother, Leon (Vickie) Gilmour of Clinton, WI; aunt, Lorraine K. Gaines (Gilmour) of Auburn, WA; his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Leon T. and Mary (May) B. Gilmour (Kennedy) of Beloit, WI and Charles D. and Clover G. Shroble (Westcott) of Lake Geneva, WI; aunt, Marjorie Gleason (Gilmour) of Auburn, WA; and uncle, Roger Shroble of Lake Geneva, WI.
Private service and burial will be at Eastlawn Cemetery in Beloit, WI.
