Barbara J. Hutchinson, age 73, of Woodstock, IL, passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Alden Terrace Rehab and Nursing Home in McHenry, IL. She was born May 18, 1938, in Capron, IL, the daughter of Lester J. & Dorothy (Kendall) Jacobs. She married Odell J Hutchinson February 26, 1972 in Woodstock. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2003.
Barbara attended the Lutheran Church in Harvard, IL, enjoyed crocheting, reading, gardening, and spending time with family.
She is survived by two sons, Duane (Kimberly) Edens of Wonder Lake, IL, and Larry (Shelly Gibson) Edens of Marengo, IL; two stepsons, Jeffery Welbon of Missouri and Michael Welbon of Woodstock; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; ex-daughter-in-law, Debbie Hoey of Woodstock; six siblings: Judy (Hugh) Flagin of Alaska, Linda (Ken) Burma of Monroe, WI, Ronald Jacobs of Harvard, Ray Jacobs, Pat (Ben) Vanderpahl of Woodstock, and Steve (Kim) Jacobs of Sharon, WI.
Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at WALWORTH CEMETERY in Walworth, WI.
