Peter W. Timm, Janesville  (1950 - 2012)

Peter W. Timm, age 61, a lifelong Janesville resident, passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center Emergency Dept. He was born July 11, 1950, in Janesville, the son of the late L. Ross & Annette (Schiefelbein) Timm. He attended school in Janesville, and was a graduate of Craig High School, Class of 1968. Peter was a longtime member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Peter was well know in the area for his business, Peter Timm An-tiques. He also had an avid love of cars, and had restored many for resale. He enjoyed all motorsports, and liked following IndyCar and NASCAR.
Peter also will be remembered by his family and friends as a person who always was concerned about others, and was always willing to assist anybody who needed a helping hand!
Peter is survived by his sister, Barbara (Charles) Helling of Waukesha, WI; his niece, Amanda Helling of Milwaukee, WI; his nephew, Alexander (Heidi) Helling, both serving in the U.S. Army in Ansbach, Germany; and by several aunts, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, L. Ross & Annette Timm.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at ST. MATTHEW'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 709 Milton Ave., with Rev. Mark Lindner officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at the CHURCH.
