Janice J. Axelson, Elkhorn/Delavan, WI  (1930 - 2012)

Janice J. Axelson, age 81, of Parliment Lane, Delavan, WI, died suddenly Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at Mercy-Walworth Hospital, Lake Geneva, WI. Janice was born Dec. 27, 1930, the only child of the late Thomas E. Galloway and Margaret Elizabeth Ann Carlson in Highland Park, IL. Janice married Clarence L. Axelson on March 28, 1959, in Deerfield, IL. Janice and Clarence lived on Lauderdale Lakes for many years enjoying the beautiful outdoors and also had a home in Port Richey, FL. Janice enjoyed her flowers, especially Sweet Peas. Janice was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be always loved, deeply missed but never forgotten.
Janice is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Clarence L. of Elkhorn, WI; her children: Sherry Johnston (Dennis Domenichetti) of Barcelona, Spain, Jennifer (James) Walsh of Bloomington, MN, Thomas of Libertyville, IL, Clarence Jr. (Christine) of Third Lake, IL, Carl (Vicki) of Elkhorn, WI, and Keith (Kellie) of Libertyville, IL; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She is further survived by other relatives and many, many good friends. Janice was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, George Johnston.
Funeral services for Janice will be held at 12 NOON on Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at HAASE-LOCKWOOD & ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOME, 730 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn, WI, with Rev. Dr. Scott McLeod officiating.
