Gregory G. Griffin, Brodhead  (1969 - 2012)

Gregory G. “Griff” Griffin, age 42, of Brodhead, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at UW Hospital, Madison, WI. He was born on December 12, 1969 in Belvidere, IL, the son of N.E. and Elizabeth (Volz) Griffin. Griff graduated from Belvidere High School in 1988 and was an auto mechanic most of his life. He also was a great Minnesota Viking fan.
He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Griffin, Freeport, IL; father, N.E. (Mary Lou) Griffin, Belividere, IL; two daughters, Aften Griffin, Dekalb, IL, Dakotah Griffin, Rockford, IL; a sister, Mary Griffin, Freeport, IL; a half sister, Kim Griffin, Minnesota; step-siblings, Bob (Jackie) Hartman, Debbie (Sam) Douthat, both of Rockford, and Diane (Rick) Harmon, Denise (Brian) Wolf, both of Belvidere, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012, at the D.L. NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 1105 E. 9th AVE., BRODHEAD, WI. Visitation will be held from noon on Saturday until time of services. Online condolences may be made at www.dlnewcomerfuneralhome.com
