Patricia Thostenson, Woodboro/Beloit  (1939 - 2012)

Patricia Thostenson, age 72 of the Town of Woodboro, passed away on Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at her home. She was born on Sep. 29, 1939, in Beloit, WI to Verble and Marie (Duchesneau) Reavis.
Pat graduated from Orforville High School. She married Robert Thostenson on Mar. 28, 1959, in Beloit. Pat and Bob moved to Rhinelander in 1978 where they owned and operated River Street Tap until retiring in 2002. Pat had also been employed at Trig's Grocery in Rhinelander. She was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church and was a past Lioness member. Pat enjoyed watching the "critters", bowling, golf, the Green Bay Packers, and NASCAR.
Pat is survived by her husband, Robert Thostenson of Rhinelander; her son, Aaron (Misty) Thostenson of Rhinelander; four grandchildren: Dustin (Rosie), Tyler, Destiny, and Justice; three great grandchildren: Alivia, Brayden, and Emily; two sisters, Madge Nelson of Janesville, WI and Mary Balmes of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, Beverly Reavis of Beloit; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Jackie Wagner; two brothers, Claude and Duane Reavis; and two brothers-in-law, Francis Balmes and John Terpstra.
Visitation for Pat will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at the CARLSON FUNERAL HOME (715-369-1414/www.carlsonfh.com) in Rhinelander. A prayer service will follow at
7 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Kari Vadis officiat-ing. Funeral services will be at 1 PM on Friday, January 27, 2012, at LUTHER VALLEY LUTHERAN CHURCH in Beloit with Rev. Mary Froiland officiating. Visitation will be from 12 PM until the time of service on Friday at the church in Beloit. Interment will be in the LUTHER VALLEY CHURCH CEMETERY.
