ELKHORN—Kip Douglas Blair, age 41, of East Troy, WI died suddenly on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Aurora-Lakeland Medical Center, Elkhorn, WI. Kip was born January 3, 1971 to Roger and Shirley (Myers) Blair in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Kip married the love of his life, Dawn Ellen Ludwig, on March 20, 1993 in Glen Ellyn, IL. Kip was an accountant working for Lakelawn Resort and most recently for CCB. Kip was an Elder at Southern Lakes Evangelical Free Church in Elkhorn. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and mostly—his family. Kip was a great husband, father, son and a loving and giving person. He was always there to help anyone in need.
Kip is survived by his wife: Dawn, his 2 children, Nicholas and Abigail, a sister: Kelly (Bob) Sprague, 2 brothers, Jeff Blair and Greg (Sue) Blair; his in-laws, Paul (Irene) Ludwig; brothers and sisters in law: Marlin (Sherrie) Ludwig, Bill (Marcia) Wright, Keith (Lorie) Ludwig, Karen (Mike) Hilenbrand, Gloria (Dean) Guy, Glenna (Jon) Gabriele and David (Sarah) Ludwig. Kip is further survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many good friends.
Funeral services for Kip will be 10:00AM Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at SOUTHERN LAKES EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH (N6686 US Hwy 12, Elkhorn, WI 53121) with Rev. Sean Sweetman officiating. Visitation for Kip will be Monday, January 23, 2012 from 2:00-4:00PM, 6:00-8:00PM and Tuesday from 9:00AM until the time of service, all at the CHURCH.
