Russell W. Massey, Jr., age 61, of Evansville, died on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at home. He was born in Owatonna, MN, on Sept. 18, 1950, the son of Russell W. and Virginia (Goetsch) Massey. He married Lynda Pater in Owatonna, MN, on Dec. 18, 1981. He was a self-employed owner/operator trucker and was a member of the Brothers of the 3rd Wheel. Russ and wife, Lynda ran an adult family home.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda Massey of Evansville; three sons: Cory Massey of Wells, MN, Brian Massey of Minnesota, and Travis Massey of the U.S. Air Force; nine grandchildren; mother, Virginia Massey of Lincoln, NE; one brother; six sisters; and our two special ladies.
He was preceded in death by his father; and grandson, Caleb Massey.
