Pamela Lee Allen, Clam Lake, WI/Janesville  (1947 - 2012)

Pamela Lee Allen died unexpectedly at her home in Clam Lake, WI, on Jan. 25, 2012. She was born on Dec. 29, 1947, in Janesville, WI, daughter of Bob and Joanne (King) Jones. Pam graduated from Janesville High School in 1966. On Oct. 1, 1994, she married Dan Allen in Madison, WI. They moved to Clam Lake, and together they built a life in the heart of the Chequamegon Forest. Pam was manager of the Elkhorn Lodge until her death, and she assisted her husband with his business. Prior to moving to Clam Lake, Pam lived in Madison and worked at American Financial.
Pam is survived by her loving husband, Dan of Clam Lake; son, Brad (Sherri) Edmonds of Cottage Grove; stepsons, Dan (Eva) Allen and Larry Allen; stepdaughter, Danielle (Walter) Rivera-Salazar, all of Madison; brother, Rick (Mary) Jones of Janesville; sister, Kris (Randy) Mills of Beloit; three grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Barry Edmonds.
A private family service will be held Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, 3414 Woodhall Dr., Janesville, WI, with Pastor Jerry Amstutz officiating, and a service for friends and family at the ELKHORN LODGE in Clam Lake on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 11 a.m.
