Maxine E. Sellers, Edgerton (1919 - 2012)

Maxine E. Sellers, 92, of Edgerton, passed away on Jan. 31, 2012, at the Edgerton Care Center. She was born on May 6, 1919, in Edgerton, daughter of the late August and Amelia (Mielke) Krueger. She was united in marriage on Oct. 30, 1954, to Duncan Sellers at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Edgerton. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1978. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Edgerton.
Maxine was a beautician and had worked as a bookkeeper at a Savings and Loan in Milwaukee.
Maxine was a fun loving person, she enjoyed watching the Brewers and went to every season opener, her special love was spending time with her family and friends. After retiring she cared for her brothers.
She is survived, six nieces: Shirley Ruosch, Jane (John) Thronson, both of Edgerton, Barb (Don Schindler) Miller of Janesville, Joann (Jack) Fitzgerald, Gerry Pat Mc Ginnity, both of Madison, and Pat (Jack) Evans of Onalaska; and one nephew, David (Lois) Krueger of Stoughton.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene and Gertrude; and five brothers: Robert, Victor, Willard, Norman, and LaVerne.
Funeral Services will be held at Noon on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at ST. JOHN EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, EDGERTON, with the Rev. Carl Seeger officiating. Burial will be in Fassett Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday, at the CHURCH from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In Lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be make to, St John Evangelical Lutheran Church. The EHLERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES of EDGERTON is assisting the family.
