John M. Debereiner, Fort Atkinson (1945 - 2012)

John M. Debereiner, 66, of Fort Atkinson, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family. John was born on July 21, 1945, in Fort Atkinson, son of the late Royal and Marion (Kinney) Debereiner. He married Miriam Richter on June 29, 1991.
John had worked for many years at UW-Whitewater until his retirement this past summer. He was also the supervisor for Koshkonong Township for the past four years, being active in community development. He was an avid outdoorsman, spending time hunting and fishing. He also spent a lot of his time building his own home. He loved to travel, especially to Idaho to visit his nephew. He was a very devoted family man.
John is survived by his wife, Miriam; son, Jason (Raena) of Janesville; stepdaughters: Kelly (Jeff) Zastrow of Watertown, Cindy (Clark) Blachly of Glendale, and Tracy (Kent) Transue of Stoughton; grandchildren: Autumn and Elaina Debereiner, Troy (Renea) Fischer, Tina Fischer, Addie and Adam Zastrow, Jesse (Tammy) Busshardt, and Zachary and ChaleeTransue; great-grandchildren: Alex, Haley, Kyle, Jaydon, Jessica, Alexis, Alexzandra, and Kiyah; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Diane; his sister, Nancy Schultz; and a grandson, Kyle Fischer.
Memorial Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at the DUNLAP MEMORIAL HOME IN Fort Atkinson, with Pastor Jerald Wendt officiating. Friends may call from 2 p.m. on Saturday at the
