Elaine L. Raymond, age 89, of Walworth, WI, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Willowfield Nursing Home in Delavan, WI. Elaine was born June 13, 1923, at Visalia, CA, to parents, Robert E. and Florence (Hand) Lee. Her husband, Richard R. Raymond, preceded her in death. She started her professional life as a secretary for an insurance company. Later, Elaine owned and operated the Hotel Normandy in Williams Bay, WI. She also was the dining room manager and banquet manager at the Abbey in Fontana, WI.
Elaine is survived by her daughter, Sherry Jansen of Walworth, WI; son: Rick and wife, Karen Raymond of Brooklyn, WI; brother, David and wife, Joanne Lee of New Castle, CO; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a special friend, John C. Lopeman of Genoa City, WI.
Services for Elaine Raymond will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at TOYNTON FUNERAL HOME in Walworth, WI, with Pastor Barry Lee officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the FUNERAL HOME. Interment will be in the Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL.
