Don B. Carter, Janesville  (1916 - 2012)

Don B. Carter, age 96, of Janesville, formerly of Marysville, OH, died on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Rock Haven Nursing Home, Janesville. He was born in Black Duck, MN, on Jan. 26, 1916, the son of Jayson and Stella Carter. He was a member of Baptist Church, Garson Point, FL, and was a dedicated servant of his Lord and Savior.
Don is survived by his daughter, Wanda (Cecil) Carlile of Brookings, OR; three sons: Lloyd (Mae) Carter of Pleasureville, KY, D.D. (Dorothy) Carter of Carey, OH, and Jack (Diane) Carter of Brookings, OR; three step sons: Glenn, Gary and Gordon Thompson of Florida; and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, Inez Carter and Hazel Carter; and a daughter, Judith Caudell.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Janesville, with Rev. Jerry Amstutz officiating.
