Sandra Kay Gisler, age 62, of Janesville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Mercy Hospital Trauma Center, Janesville, WI. She was born Dec. 22, 1950, in Postville, IA, the daughter of Robert A. and Pauline (Thornton) LaVelle. She was a graduated of Edgerton High School class of 1971. Sandra lived in Edgerton before moving to Janesville 18 years ago. Sandra loved to write short stories and send them in to try to be published.
Sandra is survived by her mother, Pauline laVelle of Edgerton; two brothers, Robert (Lana) LaVelle of Janesville and David (Lynn) LaVelle of Edgerton; two sisters, Diane (Darrell) Norder of Edgerton and Julie (Ray Netrefa) Reddeman of Stoughton; many nieces; and nephews; and her best friend, Archie Haase of Janesville. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert in 1999.
A Celebration of Sandra's life will be held Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Milton Lawns Memorial Park Chapel. Visitation times will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at Milton Lawns Memorial Park.
