Lee Venema, Delavan, WI  (1945 - 2012)

Lee Venema, age 67, of Delavan, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at Lake Geneva Manor in Lake Geneva WI. Lee was born Feb. 26, 1945, in the Netherlands, the son of Andrew and Della (Vander Heide) Venema. He was a long time resident of Delavan and a member of the Christian Reformed Church in Delavan. Lee was employed during his working career at U.S. Gypsum in Walworth. He was Veteran serving with the U. S. Army in the 1960's.
Lee is survived by his long time companion, Judy Saam of Delavan; three sisters: Anne (William) Bellows of Elkhorn, WI, Gloria (Howard) Stuit of Grand Rapids, MI, and Ruth (Mark) Buete of Atlanta, GA; his brother, Henry Venema of Delavan. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Martin and Gordon Venema.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan is assisting the family. Visit us monroefh.com
