Jonathan A. Bakkestuen, age 28, of Clinton, and formerly of Bangor, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012. Jonathan was born in Viroqua on Aug. 30, 1984, to Randy and Cindy (Willger) Bakkestuen. He attended Bangor High School. Jonathan enjoyed motorcycling and spending time with his family. He met Stacey Cygan and together they have two daughters, Kayda, age 7 and Ava, age 6.
Jonathan is survived by Stacey, Kayda and Ava; his parents, Cindy and Randy; brothers, Randy II (Nancy) and Jeremy (Missy); Stacey’s parents, Nancy and Joe Lazanky; paternal grandmother, Doris Volden; special friends: Jeff and Katie, Josh, Tony, Tyler, Austin, Paul, Oliver, Fernando, and Jake; several aunts; uncles; cousins; and friends.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Arnold Bakkestuen; maternal grandparents, Martin and Lillian Willger; paternal step-grandfather, Howard Volden; uncles, Johnny and Kenny Bakkestuen; and aunt, Margaret Bakkestuen.
Friends may call on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, from 1 until 3 p.m. at the VOSSETEIG FUNERAL HOME, 708 S. Hwy 14 in Westby. Online condolences may be offered at www.vossfh.com. In lieu of flowers of other expressions of sympathy, memorials are preferred.
