Edward H. Mansfield, age 41, of Janesville, WI, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Janesville, WI. He was born June 22, 1971, in Alden Township, WI, the son of Howard and Mary (Maas) Mansfield. He married Christy Walsh Oct. 16, 2010, in Jamaica. Ed was a self employed AI Technician working for Rock Prairie Dairy. He loved riding his Harley, the Cubs, the Bears, bowling and playing volleyball.
Ed is survived by his wife, Christy of Janesville; three children: Dawson, Grace and Caillin, Amy Mansfield the mother of Grace and Caillin; his parents, Howard and Mary Mansfield of Walworth, WI; siblings: David (Kathy) of Juda, WI, Daniel (Susan) of Delavan, WI, Rebecca (Glen) Feltham of Walworth, Eileen (Brian) Robinson of Williams Bay, WI, William (Robin) of Darien, WI, Lorraine Jackowski of Walworth, and Diane (Kenny) Martin of Walworth; many nieces; nephews; and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis, and his grandparents.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at ST. BENEDICT CATHOLIC CHURCH in Fontana, WI, with Father Norberto Sandoval officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday at TOYNTON'S WALWORTH FUNERAL HOME.
The family would like memorials to a Scholarship Fund for the children.
