June A. Klick, age 89, of Janesville, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at her home. She was born in Cedar Lake, WI, on Nov. 11, 1923, the daughter of Floyd and Lillian (Juhnke) Ackerson. She married Arnold H. “Arnie” Klick on June 1, 1946, in Osseo, WI. He preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 2001. June was a member of First Lutheran Church. She loved gardening, crafting, fishing, camping, old time music and singing country music.
June is survived by her three children: Michael Ackerson of Janesville, Jane (Ken) Borek of Waukesha, WI, and Sharon (Dr. Terry) Wiseman of Edgerton, WI; five grandchildren: John, Jason, Michelle, Nicole and Brad; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter-in-law, Ginger Ackerson; and seven siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH with Rev. James Melvin officiating. Entombment will follow in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association.
