Bessie H. Trulson, Edgerton, WI  (1924 - 2012)

Bessie H. Trulson, 88, of Edgerton, entered the gates of heaven from her home early on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012. Bessie was born on June 17, 1924, in Richmond Township, WI, to the late William and Lila Carroll. On Oct. 20, 1943, at Christ Lutheran Church in Stoughton, WI, Bessie would marry Theodore “Ted” M. Trulson. When Ted was in the Service, he would send home money to Bessie. When he got out, they had enough money to buy a Pool Hall in Edgerton. After selling the Pool Hall, they would buy a farm that they still own to this day. She also helped start FP&T Construction with Ted. Bessie was very active at Central Lutheran Church and would help out with whatever they need, especially the lunches. She worked for Meals on Wheels and was well known for her thorough cleaning habit, and would always bring a hot dish to friends and family when they were sick or had a death of a loved one.
Bessie is survived by her three children: Ted (Ginny) Trulson Jr. of Fountain Hills, AZ, Wendy (Dale) Pope of Edgerton, Rob (Peggy) Trulson of Fountain Hills, AZ; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Walter (Joyce) Carroll of Whitewater; sister, Rena Teubert of Stoughton; and many nieces; nephews; and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ted Trulson; brothers and sisters: Raymond, Edna Mae, and William Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at CENTRAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, Edgerton with Pastor James Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Jenson Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at the ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES, EDGERTON from 4 until 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until the start of the service at the CHURCH on Friday.
The family would like to thank Stoughton Home Health, Trusted Hands, Bright Star, and Agrace HospiceCare Inc. for all the special care given to Bessie and her family. Memorials may be made in Bessie’s name to Edgerton Community Outreach or Agrace HospiceCare Inc.
