Mark C. Draves, age 89, formerly of Covington, KY, and most recently of Cincinnati, OH, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012. Mark was born in Fort Atkinson, WI. He served in the US Army, stationed in England and in the South Pacific in WWII. He then finished his degree in business at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Following graduation he was employed briefly in accounting before moving into a sales position in the Beauty Industry. There he progressed into positions of increasing responsibility, ultimately founding the Tressa Company, a manufacturer of products for the Beauty Industry. He retired as President of that firm in 1988 and was the sole surviving founder. A lifelong bachelor, he is survived by one brother Thomas Draves and many nieces and nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ROSE CHURCH, Riverside Drive, Cincinnati, OH, on Monday, Dec. 3 at 5:00pm. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at the Lake View Cemetery in Ft Atkinson WI. Memorials may be made to the Radio Reading Service c/o the Cincinnati Association for the Blind & Visually Impaired or the Over-the-Rhine Foundation or the Charity of your choice.
