Kathryn Griffin, 69, of Beloit, WI, died Sunday, April 15, 2012, in Alden Meadow Park Health Care Center, Clinton, WI surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 27, 1943, in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Edward and Margaret (Adair) Beachler. Kathryn was a 1961 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School.
Kathryn was previously employed by the Epilepsy Foundation of Southern Wisconsin as a bookkeeper for many years and later by Wal-Mart as a greeter, retiring in 2008. She loved her dogs and birds. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, lunch dates with her daughters, and always sharing a good joke with friends.
Survivors include her daughters, Tammy (Ted) Dever and Kim (David) Erickson, both of Beloit, WI; three grandchildren: Branden Dever, Zachary Dever, and Mitchell Erickson; brother, Robert (Tay) Beachler of Houston, TX; and nieces, Pal Beachler of Houston, TX, and Lisa (Brian) Murphy of Grapevine, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private family services will be held. DALEY MURPHY WISCH & ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
