Charley M. Larsen, Walworth, WI  (1920 - 2012)

Charley M. Larsen, age 91, of Walworth, went home to his heavenly Father Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Born in Magnolia, WI, Aug. 7, 1920, to Laura (Gilbertson) Larsen and Jacob Larsen, he graduated from Evansville High School. He served our country during WWII. Charley married the love of his life, Tressia Goodrich, in 1942. He was always a great provider for his family doing various jobs, he worked at Libby McNeil and Libby managing the growth and harvest of peas. He also was a Wynns representative as well as a BG representative. Upon his retirement he began his 27 year career with Walmart, working in Janesville and later in Delavan. He was an enthusiastic lover of life and people.
Charley is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Tressia; a sister, Carol (Bob) Purcell; brother, Jacob Larsen; his children: Karen Jesse, Kenneth (Debra) Larsen, and Corinne (Gary) Hagen; seven
grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Irving and Leland; and daughter, Charlene Larsen.
His visitation will be held at LINN PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, W3335 Willow Road, Lake Geneva, WI, 53147, on Thursday, April 19th at 10 a.m. His Celebration of Life Service will be at 11 a.m. with a light lunch to follow.
