Eldon J. Peacock, 85, Lake Geneva, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at his residence. Eldon was born on Dec. 23, 1926, in South Bend, IN, son of the late John J. & Esther (Boll) Peacock. He was the loving husband for 63 years of Beverly Ann Bendorf, married Aug. 28, 1948, in Madison, WI. Eldon was a member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church and was employed at the Wisconsin Power & Light Company for over 30 years. He graduated from Platteville High School in 1945.
Surviving are his loving wife, Beverly of Lake Geneva, WI; he was the beloved father of Betsy (Louis) Peacock-Tobin of Vacaville, CA, Cathy (Bill) Becker of Waterford, WI, Bruce (Susan) Peacock of St. Francis, WI; fond grandfather of Bryan Peacock & Christopher Becker.
Services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2012, at IMMANUEL EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, Lake Geneva, with Pastor Mary Ann Moller-Gunderson officiating. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of services at the CHURCH. STEINKE FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family with the arrangements.
