Charles Hepburn "Chuck" Drummond, Janesville  (1923 - 2010)

Charles Hepburn "Chuck" Drummond passed into Eternal Life on Monday, March 15, 2010, at Cedar Crest in Janesville, at the age of 86. Chuck was born on Oct 27, 1923, son of the late George H. and Ella M. Drummond. He graduated from Janesville High School, and attended UW Whitewater and Westminster College before enlisting in the U.S. Army. Chuck served in an artillery brigade with General George Patton's 3rd Army in France, Belgium and Germany before being discharged. He married his high school sweetheart and soul mate, Belva Jean Trickle. They raised three children: Jeffery, Jessica, and Jock. Chuck spent several years with Procter and Gamble before starting his own business, Drummond & Associates. Later he became a partner with Affiliated Investments Inc and was their President until he retired in 1992. Chuck was a Mason for over 50 years, a member of the Kiwanis Club, past president of Janesville Toastmasters, member of the Janesville Blackhawk Curling Club, and a member of Cargill Church. He enjoyed curling, sailing, musky fishing, and mostly his time with the people who surrounded him.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Drummond of Mill Creek, WA; his son, Jock (Dorothy Crockett) Drummond of Ottawa, WI; two grandchildren, Leah and Chel Hutchins; a great-grandchild, Carmen; a sister, Jean (Alan) Jones of Fort Atkinson, WI; many other extended family and friends. Chuck has rejoined his parents; his beloved wife, Belva; and his son, Jeffery.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, March 18, 2010, at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
