Terry L. Dutcher, Janesville  (1946 - 2010)

Terry L. Dutcher, age 63, of Janesville, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Janesville on Sept. 6, 1946, a son of Eugene and Bertha (Hoff) Dutcher and attended Beloit Turner High School. A Janesville resident for most of his life, Terry served in the US Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War, where he received the Navy Com. Medal. He married Marilyn Hanson on Dec. 4, 1965 at St. John Lutheran Church and had been employed on the line at General Motors for over 33 years. He was a life-member of VFW Post 1621, and the UAW Local 95.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; a son, Troy (Tina) Dutcher; three grandchildren: Jacob, Kyle, and Zachary; two step grandchildren, Nichole and Robert; three sisters: Judy (Ed) Thomas, Joanne (Steve) Dooley, and Cindy Spangler; four brothers: Jack (Donna) Dutcher, Duane Dutcher, Dennis Dutcher, and Lester (Gloria) Dutcher; and his special buddy, Brandon Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Kenneth and Lewis; and a sister, Pamela.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at the SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Jerry Amstutz officiating. Entombment will follow in Milton Lawns Memorial Park with full military honors.
