Dayle Elaine Patty, Avalon, WI/Lemoore, CA  (1939 - 2010)

Dayle Elaine Patty, 70, of the town of Avalon, WI, died in the presence of her children on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, in her home from a five year battle with lung cancer. Dayle was born in Janesville, WI, on Feb. 18, 1939, to Harold J. Babcock and Mary Margaret (Shaffer) Babcock. She married Gerald Dean Patty on Jan. 17, 1959, and together they lived in Avalon from 1969-2006. Gerald preceded her in death in 2003. Dayle enjoyed doing toll painting, china painting, pastels and arts and crafts. She also loved all of her flower gardens, particularly red roses, cactus and moss roses. She and Gerald loved to be with family and friends and also doing wood working together, travel.
Dayle and Gerald had five children: three sons: Dean P. (Kathy) Patty, Mark F. Patty and Brian L. (Denise) Patty all of California; and two daughters, Jodyne M. ( William) Triplett and Colleen J. (Shawn) Mahan, both of California; 18 grandchildren; one great grandson; a brother, Patrick Babcock; sister, Andrea Jean Babcock; half brother, Michael Babcock; step brother, Frederick Grebs; step sister, Ann Marie; and step mother, Ann Babcock.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at the SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME, Janesville, with Pastor Bobby Sheets presiding. Interment will be in the Emerald Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME, Janesville.
