Rosemary M. Mackay,79, of Edgerton passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at St Mary's Hospital in Madison. She was born on November 18, 1930 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Edward and Katherine (Kryzak) Kures. She was united in marriage on September 22, 1952, to Frederick Mackay at St John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Edgerton. He preceded her in death on, January 22, 1993. She loved to be in her garden and her flower beds, but her special love was spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Fred (Nancy) Mackay and Edward Mackay, both of Edgerton; two very special grandchildren, Nathan and Lindsay; a sister, Irene Helgestad of Chicago; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Rossman; and a brother, Edward Kures.
A Memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at the EHLERT FUNERAL HOME, (US HWY 51 S) Edgerton, with the Rev. James Johnson officiating. Friends may call on Tues-day, February 9, 2010 at the funeral home from 4 pm until the time of the services.
