Sharon Lee Bakke, Elkhorn, WI  (1948 - 2010)

Sharon Lee Bakke of Lake Geneva, passed away of cancer at Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, WI, on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010. She was born July 21, 1948, to Mr. and Mrs. Louis Henningfield at Burlington Memorial Hospital. She graduated from Elkhorn High School in 1966. She worked at Society's Assets in Elkhorn as a home health aid. Sharon was an avid reader.
She is survived by one son, Martin (Julie) Bakke; two grandsons, Zach and Levi; her parents; two brothers, Wayne (Melinda) of Medford, OR, and Steven (Bonnie) of Madison; one sister, Betty (Dr. John Coates) of Stevens Point, WI; and a special friend, Chuck Moates. One son, Steven, 24, predeceased her.
Sharon donated her body to the University of Milwaukee Medical School. A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
