Michael Allen Bartos, 45, of Delavan, passed away Monday, October 26, 2009, at his home. He was born on Nov. 20, 1963, in Oak Lawn, IL, son of Chester and Virginia (Partipilo) Bartos. He was a groundskeeper for UW-Whitewater in Whitewater. He was an Avid Packer and Nascar fan, and he was a regular at Gus’s Drive inn for car shows. He attended St. Andrews Catholic Church in Delavan.
He is survived by his mother, Virginia of Delavan; one brother, Frank (Jeanne) Bartos of Gurnee, IL; one niece, Michelle (fiancé, Brent Qualey); and one nephew, Greg.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chester.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at MONROE FUNERAL HOME IN DELAVAN, with Fr. Jim Schuerman officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Mercy Hospice of Janesville. MONROE FUNERAL HOME, DELAVAN, is assisting the family.
