Eugene E. Lynn, 79, of Edgewood Avenue, Elkhorn, WI, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at home surrounded by his family. Eugene was born on Nov. 25, 1929, in Milwaukee, WI, son of Lester E. and Marian E. (Casper) Lynn. Eugene was united in marriage to Bonnie K. McMillin on March 31, 1951, in Lake Geneva, WI. Gene served in the US Army during the Korean War. Eugene was employed for over 30 years as a machinist with A.O. Smith of Elkhorn, retiring in 1984. He owned Ralph’s Steak House in Delavan Inlet from 1975 until 1995. He was a member of Millard Community Church, Millard, WI. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bonnie; two sons, Rick (Kathy) Lynn and Tim (Debbie) Lynn, both of Elkhorn; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and 10 brothers and sisters: Loretta (Don) Fell, Betty (Ralph) Brushwood, Marilyn Conboy, Genny (Larry) Davis, Gerry (Mel) Urbaniak, Lester (Gayle) Lynn, Kathy (Charles) Benbo, Lillian Denman, Bill (Debbie) Lynn, and Fred (Vicky) Lynn. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James “Red” Lynn and Victor Lynn; and one sister, Donna Gaethke.
