Theodore "Ted" H. Cass, Evansville  (1927 - 2009)

Theodore "Ted" H. Cass, 82, of Evansville, passed away on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at his home. He was born on July 23, 1927, in Richland Center, WI, to Vern and Dorothea (Hickcox) Cass. He was united in marriage to Lois A. Hoel on Dec. 25, 1953, in Madison, WI. Ted worked at Oscar Mayer Foods from 1951 - 1987, from which he retired. He owned and operated Mountain View Mobile Home Park in Evansville for more than 20 years. Ted had a great sense of humor and an even greater sense of generosity. He always managed to make an impact on others, and his feisty spirit will be greatly missed.
Ted is survived by his sister, Bonita Cass of Gotham, WI; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved "adopted family", which includes Robert & Mary Christianson of Evansville and their children, Julie (Scott) Baertschi of Janesville and Kelli (Antonio) Solano of Evansville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a brother, Richard Cass Sr.
In accordance with Ted's final wishes, there will be no funeral services. Interment of cremains will be in Willow Valley Cemetery in Sextonville, WI, at a later date.
