Robert "Rob" W. Crowe, Janesville (1971 - 2009)
March 18, 1971 - November 5, 2009
Robert “Rob” W. Crowe, 38, of Janesville, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at his home of heart problems. He was born on March 18, 1971, in Daytona Beach, FL, and that was the place he loved the most. He lived there for several years until he moved to Georgia, where he went to high school and played football. He came to Janesville 18 years ago, making his home here. Rob loved to cook and could make a mean pot of chili. He was larger than life, and when he entered a room, everyone knew it. He loved to fish and would cook his catch for anyone who was around to eat it. He wanted a “Rat Rod” in the worst way and loved anything that went dangerously fast. He was a son, a husband, a brother, a father and friend, who will be sadly missed.
Rob is survived by his wife, Courtney; their children, Zacrye Miles and Izabella Rayne of Janesville; his son, Devin Scott of Janesville; a daughter, Brittany and a grandson, Dakota of Tennessee; a brother, Michael (Jeri) of Tennessee; his in-laws, Jon and Pam Herman and their family; his parents, Leif and Norma Thoreson of Mansfield, TX, and Wade and Jenny Crowe of Ringgold, GA; several nieces and nephews.
“Robby, you will always be a shining light in my heart.
I love you, Mom.”
A time to celebrate Robby’s life will be from 4 until 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville, (608-741-1713).
