Howard James Dallman, 75, died Sunday, June 21, 2009, at home. He was born in Edgerton, WI, on Dec. 21, 1934, a son of Emil and Grace (Spitzer) Dallman. Howard was employed by General Motors from 1953 until retiring in 1983, and was a member of U.A.W. Local 95. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years and loved to do encrypted puzzles and take them to his twin brother’s home every day and have a cup of coffee with Harold and Ruth. He loved spending time with his family and he will be sadly missed.
Howard is survived by his children: Mike (Diane) Dallman of Edgerton, Margie (Tom) Richard of Appleton, Kevin Dallman of Edgerton, and Darrell (Kristin) Dallman of Deforest; three grandchildren: Mike (Arika), Sheena, and Keefe; a great-grandson, Brady; three brothers: Delbert (Betty) Dallman of Delavan, his twin brother, Harold (Ruth) Dallman of Edgerton, and Dwight (Rosi) Dallman of Winter; two sisters, Ruth (Clyde) Miles of Janesville and Edna (Jim) Dawson of Janesville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Emil Jr.; two sisters, Helen Olson and Dorothy Heth; and his companion of 30 years, Doris McIntyre.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at the EHLERT FUNERAL HOME in Edgerton, with Reverend Jean Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in Fassett Cemetery Edgerton, WI. Friends may call on Saturday, June 27, 2009, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
