Thomas L. Davis, Stoughton/Delavan  (1905 - 2008)

Thomas L. Davis, 102, longtime Delavan, WI, resident and currently of Stoughton, WI, died at Nazareth Health Care Center in Stoughton on Thursday, May 8, 2008. Tom was born on Dec. 5, 1905, in Walworth Co., WI, the son of Will and Rosa (Holsinger) Davis. He married Iva Gile on Sept. 4, 1929, in Sharon, WI; Iva predeceased him in 1999. Tom was a longtime employee of Sta-rite Industries and its Five Year Club. He was a very active member of the Delavan United Methodist Church. Tom moved to Stoughton to be near his only daughter, Rosa May.
Tom is survived by one daughter, Rosa May Terpstra of Stoughton; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. and one nephew, Gary Davis of California.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2008, at the DELAVAN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, with the Rev.’s Brian Armstrong and Edward Johnson co-officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Hillside Cemetery, in Palmyra, WI. Friends may call at the CHURCH from 9 a.m. until service time on Monday.
