David M. Biddick, Janesville (1939 - 2008)

David M. Biddick, 68, of Janesville, died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Mercy Harvard Hospital. He was born in Madison on Nov. 17, 1939, the son of Ralph and Alice (Coward) Biddick. He graduated from Stoughton High School in 1957 and had attended UW Whitewater. David married Sally Schuppener on Sept. 11, 1971, in Janesville. He had previously owned and operated the Shell Service and Bulk Station in Stoughton and later served as a pilot for Midwest Aviation and Scott Air Charter flying for Prent Corporation and Beloit Corporation. David also worked for Gordie Boucher and was a real estate agent. He was a member of St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and enjoyed boating, golfing, and putzing in the garage.
He is survived by his wife, Sally; three children: Rebecca (Andrew) Gregg of Janesville, Matthew Biddick of Madison, and Joshua (Kari) Biddick of Janesville; grandchildren: Sarah and Nicholas Gregg and soon to be, Carson David Biddick; a sister, Dorothy (Don) Povejsil of Arizona; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Turner and brother-in-law, Tom Turner.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at ST. MATTHEW’S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, with Rev. Mark Lindner officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME. Memorials may be made to St. Matthew’s Church and School.
