As snow fell in Janesville on Saturday night, a pickup truck hit a traffic light on Milton Avenue, causing the light and pole to fall onto another car, Janesville police said.

The pickup truck was turning left onto Milton Avenue from East Memorial Drive when it instead hit the traffic light, a Janesville police officer on the scene said just before 8 p.m. Saturday.

No one was injured in the accident, police said.

The northbound lanes on Milton Avenue were closed, police said. Vehicles driving north had to turn onto Memorial Drive.

Police on the scene did not immediately know how long the street would be closed.
