The Rock County Sheriff’s Office and Edgerton Conservation Club are offering two spring Department of Natural Resources hunter safety courses starting in April.
They recommend participants be at least 12 years old or turn 12 shortly after completing the class.
The class costs $10, which will be collected at the time of registration. A parent/guardian signature is required for anyone younger than 18. The underage student must be present with an adult parent or guardian at time of registration.
Class size is limited to 30 students.

After completing enrollment, each participant will receive an email with confirmation and mandatory in-person registration information.
The courses will be held on these dates:
- Class 1: Mandatory registration at 6 p.m. April 2 at the Edgerton Conservation Club, 1006 Stoughton Road. The class runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 14-15 at the club.
- Class 2: Mandatory registration at 6 p.m. April 9 at the Edgerton Conservation Club. The class runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 21-22 at the club.
