A Walworth County drug task force made 16 arrests in a cocaine and marijuana sweep that rolled out over the past two weeks, authorities said.

According to a release, the drug unit made a swarm of arrests linked to marijuana and cocaine distribution in the county.

The drug unit netted the arrests after serving six search warrants at residences, including three houses in Delavan and two houses in the town of Darien. The drug unit also served a warrant at Vegas Gentleman’s Club at 9031 W. Highway 14, town of Darien, according to the release.

The result was 16 arrests of people from Delavan, Lake Geneva, Janesville, Beloit, Darien and two Illinois communities.

The arrests were the result of multiple investigations by the drug unit over the last six months, according to the release.

Multiple agencies assisted, including The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office, DEA-Milwaukee, the Lake Geneva Police Department, the UW-Whitewater Police Department, the Delavan Police Department and the Whitewater Police Department.

The drug unit continues to investigate, and authorities expect to make more arrests, according to the release.

Police during warrant searches seized undisclosed quantities of cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, plus drug paraphernalia and other items used to “facilitate and distribute” illegal drugs, according to the release.

According to the release, those arrested in the sting include:

  • April A. Esquivel, 36, Delavan, arrested Feb. 22, 2018. Esquivel is suspected of three counts of delivery of cocaine and three counts of party to a crime delivery of cocaine.
  • Armando Esquivel, 35, Delavan, arrested Thursday, on suspicion of six counts of delivery of cocaine, and one count party to a crime, delivery of cocaine.
  • Colton T. Schluneger, 20, Delavan, arrested Thursday, on suspicion of possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
  • Jose A. Galarza, 29, Delavan, arrested Tuesday, on suspicion of two counts delivery of cocaine, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Gilbert Gonzalez, 40, Delavan, arrested Feb. 15 on suspicion of three counts of delivery of cocaine and one count delivery of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a city park.
  • Brandon E. Hendricks, 33, Delavan, arrested Feb. 14 on suspicion of three counts of delivery of crack cocaine, three counts of delivery within 1,000 feet of a city park, and probation violation.
  • Joshua B. Hersrud, 35, Delavan, arrested Monday on suspicion of four counts of delivery of crack cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of schedule III non-narcotics and possession of marijuana.
  • Rosa E. Ibarra Camberos, 24, Posen, Illinois, arrested Thursday on suspicion of one count delivery of cocaine.
  • Alicia M. Limones, 25, Delavan, arrested Thursday on suspicion of one count of delivery of cocaine.
  • Robert D. Maldonado, 37, Lake Geneva, arrested Feb. 14 on suspicion of three counts of delivery of methamphetamine, two counts of delivering within 1,000 feet of a city park, two counts possession of marijuana, three counts possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Christian Montano, 25, town of Darien, arrested Wednesday on suspicion of eight counts of delivery of cocaine and one count possession of cocaine.
  • Cristian F. Rodriguez, 26, Janesville, arrested Wednesday on suspicion of party to delivery of cocaine.
  • Martin Sotelo Guzman, 33, town of Darien, arrested Tuesday on suspicion of party to delivery of cocaine and unauthorized use of personal identity.
  • Reginald D. Washington, 52, Delavan, arrested Feb. 13 on suspicion of two counts delivery of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of a city park and one count possession of cocaine.
  • Madeline E. Osmond, 18, Hawthorn Woods, Illinois, arrested Thursday on suspicion of possession of marijuana.
  • Raven S. Lyons, 20, Beloit, arrested Thursday on suspicion of possession of marijuana.

Correction: This article was updated on March 8, 2018, after Walworth County prosecutors allege Raven S. Lyons gave someone else's identifying information, which the sheriff's office included in their new release before learning her real name.
