The Monroe man killed in a traffic crash near Brodhead last Wednesday has been identified as William A. Dingledine, 66.

The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Department released the name in the one-car rollover crash that occurred around 9:10 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 104 near Atkinson Road in the town of Magnolia.

Dingledine was the driver and only occupant of the car. He was thrown from the car and pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release.

Preliminary results of an autopsy confirmed Dingledine died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash, according to the release. Toxicology tests have not been completed. An investigation continues.
