MILTON AVENUE AT MEMORIAL DRIVE, JANESVILLE, at 3:25 p.m. Saturday, when a pickup truck driven by Deborah M. Oliver, 71, of 1322 Linden Ave., Janesville, stopped at the stoplight and was hit from behind by a car driven by Tanya Dee K.J. Fritz, 47, of 1145 Prairie Ave., Janesville. Oliver was treated and released at SSM Health St. Mary’s-Janesville. Fritz was cited for following too closely and driving without insurance.
LADALE M. JOHNSON, 31, of 333 N. Franklin St., Janesville, with second-degree recklessly endangering safety, fleeing a traffic officer and obstructing. He is accused of fleeing a Janesville police officer Saturday at speeds up to 60 mph on southbound Milton Avenue, westbound Highway 14 and southbound Kennedy Road, coming close to hitting other vehicles at times.
PARKER E. BOREN, 21, of 1140 W. South St., Whitewater, with possession with intent to deliver marijuana near a school, maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of drug paraphernalia. Whitewater police say after getting information about Boren and garbage picks of trash at Boren’s home, on Dec. 19 they executed a search warrant on the home and found large amounts of drug paraphernalia and 7.42 grams of marijuana in his room and basement. Police also say they found a journal listing prices for marijuana.
COLONEE R. CAMPBELL, 22, of Chicago, with obtaining a controlled substance by fraud. City of Lake Geneva police say on Aug. 21 he fraudulently picked up a prescription under a man’s name for promethazine with codeine syrup.
LEXIS T. JOY, 21, of Elgin, Illinois, with two counts of party to uttering a forgery. City of Delavan police say on May 25 and 26, Joy wrote two checks for a total of $280 using another man’s checks.
1100 BLOCK OF WEST HIGHWAY 11, TOWN OF DECATUR, at 7:12 a.m. Wednesday, when a vehicle driven by Steven M. Stageman, 41, Janesville, hit the back end of a vehicle driven by Heather Heller, 29, Evansville, as Heller was turning her vehicle into a driveway. Heller’s vehicle entered the other lane of the road, where it was struck a second time by another vehicle driven by Timothy J. Bender, 54, Juda. Another vehicle driven by Dawn M. Hill, 46, Monroe, swerved to miss the pileup, but hit Stageman’s vehicle. Heller and Stageman were transported to Monroe Clinic, Monroe, for treatment of injuries. A report on their status was not immediately available. Stageman was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
