Intoxicated driving arrests

CAITLIN J. VAN ZANDT, 22, 619 Franklin St., Janesville, at 1:59 a.m. Friday at Jackson Street and Laurel Avenue, Janesville.

NICOLE M. RANDALL, 29, 1306 N. Washington St., Janesville, No. 8., at 2:06 a.m. Friday at North Pearl and Ravine streets, Janesville. Also cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

DAVID B. HANSON, 56, Afton, at 7;38 p.m. Thursday at West Beloit-Rock Townline Road and South County G. A sheriff’s deputy was attempting to control traffic at the scene of an earlier crash, when Hanson apparently drove a pickup truck over some cones that were restricting access to the crash scene, according to reports.


GUNSHOT WOUND at 12:18 p.m. Thursday at a residence in the 5500 block of West Noss Road, town of Rock. A man reported he was attempting to take apart a 9 mm handgun to clean it when he accidentally shot himself in the hand. The man told sheriff’s deputies he didn’t realize a bullet was in the chamber of the gun.

CHRISTOPHER A. EDLER, 40, of 417 N. Sandy Lane, Elkhorn, with false imprisonment, battery and disorderly conduct, all with domestic abuse assessments. Elkhorn police say on Feb. 21, he went into the room of a woman he knows and hit her in the face, shoved her down and would not let her leave until he eventually fled from the location.

MATTHEW D. RICHARDSON, 27, of 731 W. Walworth St., Unit C, Whitewater, with possession of narcotic drugs, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
