EAST COURT STREET AND MARSHALL PLACE, Janesville, at 4:56 p.m. Saturday after one vehicle cut off another vehicle, causing a crash. A car driven by a 16-year-old girl was eastbound in the right lane of Court Street when it turned left, and an eastbound sport utility vehicle in the left lane struck the girl’s car. SUV passenger Ivy Francesca Hernandez, 18, of 208 Cherry St., Janesville, was taken to Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, with a suspected minor injury. The 16-year-old was cited for an improper left turn.
HIGHWAY 51 NEAR KNILANS ROAD, Janesville, at 5:48 p.m. Friday after a southbound van lost control in the snow, crossed the centerline and collided with a northbound sport utility vehicle. The van’s driver, Antonio Cervantes Hernandez, 60, of 2319 Clover Lane, Janesville, was cited for failure to keep his vehicle under control. SUV driver Lynn Diane Hilts, 64, of 6219 S. Highway 51, Janesville, was taken to a hospital with a possible injury.
ANDREW T. WAGNER, 34, of 19 S. First St., Evansville, at 12:35 a.m. Saturday at 7530 N. County M, town of Fulton, on a charge of disorderly conduct while armed with a knife.
MICHAEL D. HETH, 33, of 10878 N. County KK, town of Lima, at 8:40 p.m. Saturday at home on a charge of a physical abuse of a child. Heth is accused of pushing a 15-year-old into the back of a truck, cutting the 15-year-old’s hand.
Intoxicated driving arrest
CALEB L. GOETZMAN, 18, of 2913 Dakota Drive, Janesville, at 2:04 a.m. Sunday at South Highway 51 and West Terrington Drive, town of Rock. It is listed as his first arrest on a drunken-driving charge. He was also cited for underage drinking.
MICHAEL J. GENDRICH, 59, of Burlington, with failure to update sex offender information and registry violation. State Department of Corrections registry specialists say between Feb. 4, 2016, and Nov. 1, 2016, Gendrich registered at an address at which he did not live in Honey Creek.
BOBBY T. NEAL, 49, of Milwaukee, with felony retail theft, criminal damage to property and misdemeanor bail jumping. Lake Geneva police say on Jan. 5, Neal, who is suspected in multiple other retail thefts at Walmarts, broke into a security case at a Lake Geneva Walmart and took an Apple pencil, two Beats Pill speakers and two Beats 3 wireless speakers worth a combined $681. Police also say the case he damaged had to be replaced for $756.
