Intoxicated driving arrests

BRANDON A. LANE, 31, Durand, Illinois, at 11:02 p.m. Friday at County A and Little Road in the town of Janesville, after he was found asleep in a car with the engine running. Also cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

ADRIAN E. HERNANDEZ, 27, of 202 Lincoln St., lower, Janesville, at 4:32 a.m. Monday after his vehicle broke down on Highway 51 north of Highway 11, Janesville.

CATHERINE M. GROETKEN, 57, of 619 Harding St., Janesville, at 5:13 p.m. Tuesday at County J and Avalon Road, town of La Prairie, after her vehicle crossed the centerline, causing an oncoming driver to swerve to avoid a head-on collision, leading to the vehicles side-swiping.

THEFT reported at 10:58 a.m. Sunday on Highway 51 South in the town of Rock, when a trailer loaded with a skid steer and other items valued at $27,000 was taken.

SUSPECT SEARCH at 11:34 p.m. Friday at 5151 W. Stone Farm Road, town of Fulton, when sheriff’s deputies helped Janesville police search for an armed robbery suspect. The suspect was not found.

EMERGENCY DETENTION at the Rock County Youth Services Center at 3:47 p.m. Dec. 21, when a teenage inmate told a staff member he had taken about 60 Tylenol pills while on a home visit and wanted to kill himself. He was treated at Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, and was to be assessed later by Rock County Crisis Intervention.

BURGLARY reported at 8 a.m. Dec. 20 on East Highway 14 in the town of Bradford. A workshop and two vehicles were entered. A wallet, $150 in cash and jewelry valued at $500 were reported taken.

HIGH-RISK TRAFFIC STOP at 8 p.m. Saturday in the 3400 block of South Riverside Drive, town of Beloit, when sheriff’s deputies and town police stopped a vehicle with four people, ages 18 to 20, from Madison and Fitchburg, who had fled city of Beloit police. They were turned over to city police.

BURGLARY reported at 10:01 a.m. Dec. 21 on South Smythe School Road in the town of Newark. Taken were two gold necklaces valued at $300, three silver necklaces valued at $150 and three units of a medication.

Charged

DASHAWN L.L. WRIGHT, 22, Racine, with false imprisonment, battery and disorderly conduct. He is accused of assaulting a woman and preventing her from leaving rooms in her residence during an incident Friday night on Janesville’s east side.
