MELANIE A. OLSON, 38, of 2703 Sylvester St., Janesville, with possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. She is accused of possessing two methadone pills, a pipe and syringes, among other paraphernalia, after a traffic stop Saturday at Center Avenue and Racine Street in Janesville.

JOSEPH P. SCHNEIDER, 57, of 2357 E. Sylvan Lane, Milton, with sexual assault of a child under age 13 and six counts of possession of child pornography. He is accused of forcing a child he knew into repeated sexual acts more than a decade ago and of possessing 269 images of child porn on his phone.

JASMINE D. MASON, 23, of 2025 W. Wall St. No. 1, Janesville, with second-degree recklessly endangering safety as domestic abuse. She is accused of intentionally driving onto the median on Portland Avenue near Fifth Street in Beloit on Saturday night and toward a person who had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit.


THEFT reported at 7:39 a.m. Monday at the 5000 block of North Kennedy Road, town of Harmony. A resident reported a purse stolen from a vehicle and a wallet stolen from another vehicle.

THEFT reported at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the 5000 block of Lilly Road, town of Harmony. A purse, money, several credit cards and a checkbook were stolen from vehicles parked in a garage.
