The Janesville Morning Rotary Club has announced its April Students of the Month.

The students are:

Craig High School student Faith Tullar, daughter of Angel and Chris Tullar. She was a member of National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, International Club and Sierra Club. She also participated in swimming and tennis and delivered Meals on Wheels.

Tullar plans to attend UW-Eau Claire and major in nursing.

Milton High School student Ellen Crofts, daughter of Catherine and Val Crofts. She was a member of National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Spanish Club, student council, Caritas for Children Club, Young Conservatives Club, Link Crew, show choir and tennis team. She also was a peer tutor and volunteered at St. Mary Catholic Churchy.

Crofts plans to attend UW-Madison or St. Norbert’s College.

Milton High School student Eric Fons, son of Jill Schuerman and Jon Fons. He was a member of Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, swim team, soccer team, marching band and show choir band.

He plans to attend University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

Parker High School student Sydney Peterson, daughter of David and Teri Peterson. She is a member of National Honor Society, DECA, Student Leadership Council, softball team and volleyball team and was the general manager of the school store. She also was a guide at the Janesville Schools Outdoor Lab and volunteered at Mercyhealth, Bags of Hope, the Westgate Block Party and as a junior coach at Rock Volleyball Club.

Peterson plans to attend Carroll University and major in nursing.

Parker High School student Ann Wienke, daughter of Jeremie and Jessica Wienke. She was a member of Spanish Club, Spanish National Honor Society, Culture Club, yearbook, Green Squad, DECA, Stakeholder’s Committee, All In Youth Program, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, two swim teams and the soccer team.

She received a Global Education achievement certificate and volunteered at Roxbury Church of Christ, ECHO and Hedberg Public Library.

Wienke plans to attend Blackhawk Techical College and major in nursing. She hopes to earn a travel nurse certification and work as a travel nurse.
