Three seats on the Janesville School Board will be up for grabs in this spring’s election.

As of Friday afternoon, only one of the three incumbents up for election had taken out papers to run, said Debra Weston, Janesville School Board Clerk.

Friday was the first day candidates could circulate nomination papers.

Incumbent Carla Quirk, 1722 Morningside Drive, No. 7, Janesville, has taken out papers. The two other incumbents whose terms are expiring are Greg Ardrey, 25 Sauk Court, Janesville, and Steve Huth, 4865 W. Brown Deer Lane, Janesville.

Neither Huth or Ardrey had filed papers of non-candidacy, Weston said.
