JANESVILLE

North River Street between West Milwaukee Street and West Wall Street will be closed for a month starting Thursday, according to a city news release.

AT&T crews will be working on a utility project during the closure. Motorists are asked to detour around the area using West Milwaukee Street and North Franklin Street. The closure is expected to last about a month, according to the release.
